Nestled very near the main intersection in historic Boyertown, only half a mile square, Twin Turrets Inn has quite a history. The Inn was actually built by Daniel B Boyer in 1865. The turrets, in fashion in Philadelphia, were added later, along with the front porch. Boyer later gave the house to his son Horace who was in need of a larger property to raise his family. Today, the Inn, with 10 individually decorated rooms each patterned after a historical Boyertown character is owned by Boyertown’s mayor. A full breakfast is served each morning and the Inn has a dinner package with the Carriage House Restaurant. The Colebrookdale Railroad is right down the street.
