Sweet & Salty Trail
Get acquainted with the sweet and sometimes salty side of Pennsylvania's Americana Region as you follow Berks County's Sweet & Salty Trail. Our newest experience pass takes you on a delicious journey across the region to ice cream shops, candy stores, and pretzel bakeries where you'll find the yummiest treats.
How it Works:
Simply download our Explore Berks app, create an account, and click on "Passports." From there, you will start with the Berks County Sweet & Salty Trail Level 1. Visit 6 stops on the the level 1 trail to receive a prize. Starting June 13th, 2025, you may begin level 2! Level 2 requires 12 stops in order to receive the second prize. Stops from level 1 will be counted towards level 2. Make sure that your locations services on your mobile device are turned on while out on the trail. Once you are inside and enjoying your sweet or salty treat, hit the check in button to start working towards those prizes.
